Green Teams is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. That means we decide how and why your personal data is processed. You can reach us at luke@greenteams.uk.

• Account details such as your name, email address and login credentials.
• Your role and which course (organisation) you belong to.
• Information you enter into the service, such as machines, maintenance logs, faults, parts, fuel records and any photos or documents you upload.
• Support messages you send us.
• Technical and usage information, such as device identifiers, IP address and how you use the service, collected to keep it secure and working.

• To create and manage your account and your course workspace.
• To provide the service and its features.
• To keep the service secure and prevent fraud or misuse.
• To provide customer support.
• To improve and develop the service.

We rely on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving the service securely, your consent where required, and our legal obligations, as the legal bases for this processing.

• Service providers who help us run Green Teams, such as our hosting, database and analytics providers, acting on our instructions.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, billing, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as legal and accounting providers, where needed.
• Authorities or other parties where we are required to do so by law.

We keep personal data for as long as you have an account and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting and operational needs. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

Where your data is transferred outside the UK or European Economic Area, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as standard contractual clauses or transfers to countries with an adequacy decision.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct or delete it, restrict or object to its processing, request portability, and withdraw consent. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit and access controls that keep each course's data separate from every other course.

We use only the cookies and similar technologies needed to sign you in and keep the service working securely. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required.
