Terms & conditions
Last updated 23 June 2026
These terms govern your use of Green Teams, a fleet and maintenance service for golf course greenkeeping teams operated by Green Teams. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
Who you are contracting with
The service is provided by Green Teams ("we", "us", "our"). When you use Green Teams you are entering into an agreement with Green Teams. If you have any questions about these terms, contact us at luke@greenteams.uk.
Acceptance
By signing up for an account, accepting an invitation, or continuing to use the service, you confirm that you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a golf course or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. You must be of legal age to enter into a contract.
The service
Green Teams helps greenkeeping teams record machines and tools, log daily checks and faults, schedule maintenance and services, track parts, stock and fuel, and report on downtime and cost of ownership. We may add, change or remove features over time to keep improving the service.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
- use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purpose;
- send spam or upload malicious code;
- infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any person;
- interfere with or compromise the security or integrity of the service, including probing, scanning or scraping it;
- attempt to access data that does not belong to your course.
Intellectual property
We retain all ownership of the service and everything in it, including the software, design, documentation and branding. You keep ownership of the data and content you put into the service. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content only as needed to provide the service to you.
Payment, subscriptions and tax
Green Teams is offered as a paid subscription per course, with a free trial period. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, currency, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Please also read our refund policy.
Price changes
We may change our subscription prices at any time and for any reason, including increasing them. Any new price will take effect from your next billing period after we give you reasonable advance notice, normally by email to the address on your account. If you do not agree to a new price, your remedy is to cancel before it takes effect; continuing to use the service after that point means you accept the updated price. Any price already paid for the current billing period is not affected.
Service level
We work hard to keep Green Teams available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error free. We may carry out maintenance from time to time.
Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously breach our acceptable use rules. You may stop using the service at any time. When access ends, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data before it is deleted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless local law requires otherwise.
